Account Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

​

 

  • Diligently and professionally employ both written and verbal communication skills with customers
    to move projects along or cultivate potential projects

  • Respond to email / telephone inquiries from external / internal customers within 24 hours.

  • Be involved with customers including booking their sales orders, researching /
    resolving their problems, providing production and/or product information, and overseeing projects

  • Be able to read and convey the information on blue prints and perform take-offs for various types of customer décor and fixture requirements

  • Work with Project Managers on all aspects of sales orders and processing them within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Tracking of sales orders to ensure complete and timely shipping.

  • Coordinate shipping of products, resolve freight discrepancies, and process freight invoices.

  • Manage, maintain and update customer information, inventory and invoicing within internal
    software.

  • Provide custom reports when needed.

  • Work with IT department to develop custom reports or website portal when needed.

  • Support President and EVP of Operations in various administrative duties when needed.

  • Meet with clients as needed, including possible day travel to client headquarters or to retail
    store locations.

 

Qualifications
 

  • Excellent professional communication and writing skills.

  • Ability to research and resolve client inquiries and complaints.

  • Strong administrative and superior organizational skills.

  • Excellent PC Skills that include MS Office / Word / Excel/ Powerpoint/ Adobe Suite/ Visual

  • Ability to handle multiple projects.

  • Ability to make logical decision, prioritize workload, track multiple projects, manage multiple
    deadlines, for multiple customers

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.

  • 2-5 years of experience in similar role in a fast paced work environment.
